Online Payment through Credit Card

Visa, Master and American express Card payments are processed through an online payment gateway system. You need not worry about your card information falling into the wrong hands because your bank will authorize the card transaction directly without any information passing through us. In approximately 25-30 seconds (depending on your internet connection) your bank will issue, using the online payment gateway, an authorization code and confirmation of completion of transaction.

HimachalWorld, as a Verisign Certified Site, uses the latest 128 bit encryption technology and other sophisticated methods to protect your credit card information. You can book your desired hotel using SSL encryption (the internet standard for secure transactions). In fact, transacting online with a credit card at the Website is even safer than using a credit card at a restaurant because we do not retain your credit card information. You can be assured that HimachalWorld offers you the highest standards of security currently available on the internet so as to ensure that your hotel booking experience is private, safe and secure.

If the payment on the credit card is declined for some reason, alternate payment instructions must be received by HimachalWorld 24 hours to 72 hours prior to the time of departure ( depending upon the distance of the destination from your departure place ); else, the order is liable to be cancelled.

Payment Using Net Banking or Internet Banking

If you have an account with any of the following banks, then you can pay for your order through respective bank's net banking options and the amount will be automatically debited from your account. HimachalWorld processes the payments through an online gateway system which enables safe and secure transaction.

Transaction Confirmation

You should not take any action based on information on the Website until you have received a confirmation of your transaction. In case of confirmations to be received by email, if you do not receive a confirmation of your purchase/transaction within the stipulated time period, first look into your "spam" or "junk" folder to verify that it has not been misdirected, and if still not found, please contact our call centre.

In case you avail of the Website's hotel reservation service and are, thereafter, not contactable on the contact details provided in this regard, then the hotel reservation selected by you will stand cancelled and HimachalWorld would not be liable for any charges/expenses incurred by you, either directly or indirectly in this regard.


HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway Integration : Terms and Conditions

HimachalWorld has authorized Dream infosoft to integrate HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway in HotelKnowa ( a product of Dream Infosoft ) under following terms and conditions.

HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway will be activated upon confirmation from customer
Any amount processed through HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway is to be charged payment gateway fees as per the terms and conditions of HimachalWorld
Maximum 50% of the total booking cost as advance can be transfered by customer using HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway
HimachalWorld is entitled to charge 6.5% of the total booking amount as payment gateway fees
50% of the total booking amount deposited by customer as advance will be transfered to hotel bank account ( within 7 to 15 days ) after deducting 6.5%, as payment gateway fees, against total booking amount
HimachalWorld has the final right to withdraw its Online Payment Gateway support, from any implementation of HotelKnowa ( i.e. any website running on HotelKnowa setup ), without any prior notice
HimachalWorld has the final right to instruct Dream infosoft to disable HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway integration from any website running on HotelKnowa setup against any misuse or false conduct done by any responsible figure i.e. hotel manager, business partner, business owner or website owner affecting or violating the HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway terms and conditions in any possible way
HimachalWorld has the final right to cancel or reject any monetary transcation arising our of any misuse or false conduct done by any responsible figure i.e. hotel manager, business partner, business owner or website owner affecting or violating the HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway terms and conditions in any possible way
The refunding of advance amount to customer, paid using HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway in case of cancellation of booking will be channelized by HimachalWorld only
Any advance amount, paid using HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway, once put in order cancellation process will be considered canceled forever and thus cannot be obtained back later by the hotel

HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway : Cancellation Policy

If under some rare circumstances, the booking does not get finalized with the hotel associated with booking details ( as Hotels have the right to accept or reject any booking before finalization ) OR a customer want to cancel the booking, we have cancellation policy as follows :

STAGE 1 : under rare circumstances, booking is not available with hotel OR booking has been rejected by the hotel due to full occupency or some other reason

Policy against STAGE 1 : In such scenario, if possible, we will suggest alternative booking of same value which will fulfil your requirements, otherwise booking order will be put in cancellation process and the customer will be entitled for 100% refund of '50% of the total booking cost' paid as advance amount using HimachalWorld Online Payment Gateway

Term 1 : The refunding of advance amount in such a case will be channelized by HimachalWorld only
Term 2 : kindly be noted that it may take 12 to 15 days to get your money refunded to your account from the date you submitted your order and swiped your debit/credit card or paid using net banking


STAGE 2 : booking is available and has been finalized with hotel BUT customer want to cancel the booking later.

Policy against STAGE 2 : We will not be able to return you advance amount paid by you ( because if a booking is available with hotel, we immediately transfer the advance amount to hotel associated with booking to finalize the booking and final confirmation and hence it is beyond our reach to refund you any amount once a booking gets finalized with hotel )
