Day 1 : Arrival Acclimatise (Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace in Evening).
Experience a wonderful flight over the Himalaya .On arrival,you will be receive by Kailash expeditions representative and transfer to hotel. After welcome tea and coffee, rest for whole day & and let your body take complete acclimatization . Late afternoon , if health permits ,drive to Shanti Stupa & stay back . Overnight Hotel
Day 2 : Leh GurduwaraPathar Sahib Magnetic Hill Sangam {hall of fame}
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we take you for a tour of Hall of Fame, GurudwaraPatthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Kali Temple and Sangam. At Sangam you can enjoy rafting on Zangskarriver.
Hall of Fame is a must visit for every patriotic Indian. It has been built by Indian army in memory of soldiers who lost their lives in Kargil war. Return to Leh in the afternoon.
GurdwaraPatthar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region.
Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable. The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskarriver and Indus rivers merge. In the evening come back to Leh. Overnight Hotel
Day 3 : Leh /Nubra Valley via Khardongla. 125km.
After an early breakfast ,drive to beautiful NubraValley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft) with the zig zag trail continues and drive till Hundar village. On arrival check in Nature's nest North camp. Afternoon enjoy the beauty of sand dune and double hump camel. Overnight at Nature's Nest North Camp or similar
Day 4 : Hunder Diskit Leh
Today , we get up early morning visit to Diskit monastery and have wonderful view of Nubra valley. Later driveback to Leh via same trail of khardong village and khardongla. Overnight Hotel.
Day 5 : Leh Thiksay Pangong Lake 165km
Today after early breakfast , start your drive to Pangong lake via Thiksay monastery and Shay. Enjoy the turquoise color panoramic lake and the magnificent mountains and landscapes which will leave you awestruck . Spent your afternoon enjoy the beauty of Pangong lake and check in Natures Nest camp; Overnight Camp
Day 6 : Pangong Leh
After a late breakfast , we stroll in and around lake and watch the mother nature soothes you .Later drive back to
Leh by visiting Thiksay monasteries and ShayPalace , if not visited the day before . Overnight Hotel
Day 7 :Leh To Tsomoriri Lake (240 Kms)
Early morning ,after having your breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake en-route Chumathang ( Hot-springs). Tsomoriri Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds and other wildlife , chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull, Wild ass , Tibetan mastiff , and many more .The Lake is 8 Kms. Wide and 28 Kms long with colors and shades of nature overwhelming you .Overnight in tents.
Day 8 :Tsomoriri to Leh
Today , we visit Korzok village with its houses and its gompa appearing like a mirage over the lake and experience a changthang ( eastern plateau) and the changpa ( the nomads and local resides ) . The barley fields at Korzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world and later in the afternoon visit around the Lake. Later drive to Mahe village and the road turns left from here towards Puga Valley. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon with sulphur containing hot spring and meadows with wildlife and come back to leh .Overnight Hotel.
Day 9 : Departure: Leh Delhi
After an early breakfast ,depart to airport for onward destination ….fly with sweet memories of Ladakh.
