Day 02: Excursion to Khajjiar
Today go on a full day tour to Khajjiar - nicknamed as Mini Switzerland of India; the hill station is surrounded by dense deodars, pines and lush green meadows. Tourist attractions and places to visit in Khajjiar are: Khajjiar Lake & Khajjinag temple (a 12th century temple beautifully carved from wood). Evening return to hotel in Dalhousie
Day 03: Drive from Dalhousie to Dharamshala (145kms & 4-5hrs journey)
This morning drive to Dharamsala - a pristine hill station discovered by the British and a temporary home for the Dalai Lama in exile. On arrival check-in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Dharamsala
Day 04: Dharamshala sightseeing
Today go for sightseeing in Dharamshala. Places to see/visit in Dharamshala are: Dalai Lama’s residence - Tsuglakhang, Bhagsunag Fall, Church of St. John-in-the-Wilderness, Kangra Fort & Museum and the War Memorial. Overnight stay in Dharamshala
Day 05: Drive from Dharamshala to Manali (Distance 235kms & 7-8hrs journey)
After breakfast drive to Manali by road. On arrival check-in to your hotel in Manali and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Manali
Day 06: Local sightseeing in Manali
Places to visit/see in Manali: Visit the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi (which has some exceptional woodcarvings which includes carefully carved wooden doors and a 24 meters tall wooden tower). Also visit the Vashisht Kund, Manu Temple and Jagat Sukh Tibetan Monastery & Handicraft Centre. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali
Day 07: Excursion/Tour to Rohtang Pass
After breakfast, full day excursion to Rohtang Pass and Solang Nulla (Valley). The drive to Rohtang Pass is a 51km drive up to 13,400ft. But once up there the stunning views of the snow peaks & glaciers would be an exhilarating experience. A great spot for the adventure lovers; this picnic spot offers challenging activities like, Horse ride, Zorbing, Paragliding and Skiing. Full day to enjoy at these beautiful points. Overnight stay at Manali.
Day 08: Drive from Manali to Chandigarh (255kms & 6-7hrs. journey)
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Chandigarh railway station. Your Himachal tour package concludes with a drop to the railway station for your onward journey home.
