Kashmir Tour ( 6 Days / 5 Nights )
Day 1: Delhi - Arrival
After arriving at the Delhi International airport, you will get an assisted transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for indulging in leisure activities. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi - Srinagar
Today you will get an assisted transfer to the airport to catch a flight for Srinagar. On reaching at the Srinagar airport, get transferred to the houseboat, known as Shikara on the Dal Lake. After lunch, enjoy cruising in a Shikara on Dal Lake. During the ride, you will cover the floating gardens and the vegetable gardens. Relish dinner and have an overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 3: Srinagar (Sightseeing)
Have your breakfast and leave to taking a tour of Srinagar. You are going to visit Shalimar Bagh, the abode of love, the Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, the garden of pleasure as well as Chashmi-e Shahi, the royal Spring. Post lunch, you are going to enjoy cruising in a Shikara on the Dal. Overnight stay.
Day 4: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
Have your breakfast, explore Gulmarg (112 kms) on a full-day visit. This beautiful valley is popular as a summer resort. In winters, it becomes the highest ski point and golf course. On arrival, you can opt from taking a pony ride or enjoying a Gondola ride (cable car) up till Khilanmarg. Back to Srinagar for staying overnight.
Day 5: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar
Day 5 post breakfast is booked for day’s excursion to Sonamarg (168 kms). En-route, enjoy the scenery. Sonamarg, popular as the Meadow of Gold’ is at a height of 2690 meters. Once you reach this place, take a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, a place covered with snow, all round the year. Return back to Srinagar for night stay.
Day 6: Srinagar - Delhi (Departure)
Have breakfast and avail an assisted transfer to the airport to catch a flight for Delhi. After reaching, spend the day at leisure. Later, you will be transferred to the international airport to board flight for your onward journey.
